“Que Quede Escrito is one of our very old songs. In the first years of our relationship we had this dynamic where we met in Germany for a couple months, then we were apart for a couple months, then we met in Mexico, and so on. It was an “all or nothing” kind of situation, which gave room for poetry and songs that kept us close when apart. And as we were gathering material for “The Quiet Hour”, this song resurged from the depths, because it somehow describes this moment we are going through as a humanity as well, where what seems important is to realize that even when there is physical separation, there is nothing that can really separate us from each other.” – Mirabai Ceiba
