Amrit Vela

When the rains fall in Eugene, Oregon one of the best ways to lift the spirits is through meditation and music. When Snatam Kaur, Tarn Taran Singh, and Jai Jeet Sangeet Singh started playing music together, they seemed to pierce through the clouds with the power of their sounds. They began their musical journey by playing at the Yoga Center every Wednesday and Friday morning for the sadhana meditations. After months and months of playing with candlelight in the cozy company of early morning meditators, they decided to put their chants onto an album, and they called it Amrit Vela. This album is truly a work of art from the heart.
