Posture Description:

 

Lie flat on the back. Place the arms at your sides and bend your knees, bringing the heels up toward the buttocks. Place the hands on the hips, just below  the waist.  With the weight distributed between the shoulders and forearms Lift the legs straight up into the air, keeping the hands on the hips.

 

Create a straight line from toes to shoulder, lowering the hands along the back as much as possible to achieve a perfectly straight line with the body.  Tuck the buttocks in while lifting the toes toward the ceiling. 

 

Make sure the elbows are not too far apart, keeping the arms perpendicular to each other.  Keep the weight off the neck.
