Posture Description:


Sit comfortably on the floor with the legs in front of you. 


Bend the knees slightly and grab hold of the  large toes by wrapping the index and middle finger around the back of the toe and the thumbs across the front.


Holding onto the toes, lift the legs up and out, stretching them wide apart as you straighten them.


Keep the back straight and continue lifting the spine upwards.   Feel the chest expand and the heart center open.  If you need to keep the legs slightly bent in order to keep the spine straight, that is okay.  It is important not to collapse the spine.
