Bio

 

Madhur-Nain Webster’s entire life has been centered on the spiritual traditions and practices of yoga.  Today, she is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and trainer, licensed marriage and family therapist, uses breathing and chanting meditations in her therapy to adjust stress patterns, release emotional pain and support positive mental and physical change, providing a solid foundation for long term well-being in her clients.  The sounds of the chanting are formulas (mantras) which alter the pattern of the mind.  Scientific research has documented that Directive Meditation, (chanting and segmented breathing), allows the brain to be more active during meditation, supporting an individual to process their emotional state more easily and successfull.                                 

 

She is also an entrepreneur, and happily married mother of two.  She is currently the only Kundalini Yoga teacher in Napa, CA, offering classes at several locations.   As a Yoga Alliance certified associate trainer of Kundalini Yoga, Madhur-Nain teaches at numerous level-one trainings in California and New Mexico.  She is currently organizing the San Francisco North Bay’s first Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program and is working on two books.
