Jap was born in the pulsing metropolis of Mexico City. His career as an artist began as a professional dancer in some of the most important contemporary dance companies of the era.  He found yoga and met his teacher Yogi Bhajan in the early 1980’s.

From the very first it was the vibration of the Naad sound current which was Jap’s link to the Spirit. Throughout his career he has produced three albums of mantras as a solo artist in Spanish and Gurumukhi; Chants for the Beloved is his fourth and his first with Manshant.

He currently resides in Mexico where he is a professional teacher, posture master and lead trainer of Kundalini Yoga and Asanadance. He performs in concerts of his music and inspires people in music, yoga and dance both in his Native Mexico and abroad.

Manshant grew up on a ranch in rural Australia surrounded by nature. She studied agriculture and writing at university and worked abroad in different countries before arriving in Mexico in 2009, drawn by its magic and energy.

Upon finding Kundalini Yoga, she began to develop her sensitivity through sound and chanting. She started in the Naad Yoga sessions with Jap and his ensemble in 2011 and from there a creative partnership emerged.

She lives between Australia and Mexico. She teaches Kundalini Yoga and performs music as a way to open energetic spaces and connect with Guru and the Universal Soul.
