Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa

Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa Michaud has studied Kundalini Yoga for over 25 years. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer through KRI's Aquarian Academy. Ek Ong Kaar Kaur graduated with a B.A. in Asian Studies from Rice University in  Houston, Texas in 1992. During her college years, she earned a scholarship to study in China, exploring issues of translation between Asian languages and English. After graduating from college, she worked in journalism and public relations, until she met Siri Singh Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa (Yogiji) in 1996. Under his inspiration and guidance, Ek Ong Kaar Kaur began translating the writings of the Sikh Gurus into English. She has published poetic translations of Japji Sahib composed by Guru Naanak; Anand Sahib composed by Guru Amar Das; and Sukhmani Sahib composed by Guru Arjan.  She also served as the editor for Success and the Spirit: An Aquarian Path to Prosperity. 

Ek Ong Kaar Kaur is an internationally recognized author and teacher. She worked for nearly 20 years in the legacy organizations of the Siri Singh Sahib - including Golden Temple, Yogi Tea, Sunshine Oils, Herb Technology, Aquarian Times, 3HO Foundation, Sikh Dharma International, the Kundalini Research Institute and SikhNet.  She is currently a member of the Sarkar E Khalsa government section of the International Khalsa Council. Ek Ong Kaar Kaur recently married her high school senior year sweetheart,  Dr. Patrick Michaud, and is now based in Plano, Texas.
