Mantra drew Dharampal Kaur to the Kundalini Yoga practice. The Aquarian Sadhana mantras were particulary inspiring. “As a classically trained guitarist, I played Bach and Mozart but didn’t compose my own music. Once I started Kundalini Teacher Training, music to the Aquarian mantras flowed. I began to lead the mantras with my guitar during morning sadhana, accompanied by Har Prashad Singh. I was encouraged to record the mantras, resulting in my first release, ‘Blissful Sadhana’.”

Following the release of “Blissful Sadhana”, Dharampal went back into the studio to record extended versions of two mantras that catalyzed profound healing and change in her life: Humee Hum Brahm Hum and Haree Haree Haree Har.The resulting album is “Power in Peace”, which emphasizes the effectiveness and potency of peace and stillness to create change in our relationships.

Dharampal currently teaches several classes at Yoga Yoga in Austin, TX. She incorporates live music into her classes and allows the classroom experience to inform and inspire the mantras she records. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science and is currently in graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin studying curriculum development for physical educational programs. Yoga, health and wellness are her passions. She looks forward to a lifetime of sharing her heart with students through mantra and yoga to facilitate growth and healing.
