Description

As its name implies, this project was created for the sole purpose of giving the listener an experience. Those familiar with Guru Singh`s prior work (including an album with pop artist, Seal) will find him entering into new musical territory. This series of Kundalini Yoga mantras is consistent and focused—letting the power of the vibration be the star—using subtle vocal and instrumental layering analogous to the subtleties of the Universe that one becomes aware of in deep states of meditation. The Guru Singh Experience: Volume ONE is both the first in a series, and a declaration of ONE—its rhythms and melodies culled from the listener outside of time—then brought back to the listener in the Living Moment. In other words: you know this music. You are this music. Sat Nam.

Guru Singh mGuru Singh m.s.s., is a yogi, teacher, writer, composer-musician, shaman, ordained minister, healer, and most importantly as he says "a family man", living in Los Angeles and sometimes in India, London and New Mexico. Living with his wife and their two children, his life exemplifies a delicate and vital balance; honoring family and personal commitments while maintaining his spiritual dedication to working with the people of this world.

As a writer and musician, he has several projects under construction. An album with Seal titled 'A Game of Chants' was released in 2001 and has been followed by two more.  He is been the subject of many articles, both in the US and Europe; voted "Best Guru" by Los Angeles Magazine and featured in the current book Lives Charmed, by Linda Sivertsen - Guru Singh reaches throughout the world.
