Dya Singh's newest CD, 'Naam - the inner journey' released in May 2003, is perhaps one of his best CDs. Indeed the listener is again taken on a never ending mystical journey, through the realms of reality, in search of peace and Oneness, with The Almighty Creator - Waheguru Parmatma.'Naam - the inner journey' will evoke your "inner spirit" into a tranquil state of well being and Chardhi Kala.

The tone of the CD is very laid back, slow and rhythmic. Each group member brings a certain quality which is truly their own. Dya Singh's strong, entrancing and hypnotic voice weaves you through a wide range of scales. The ethereal voices of daughters Parvyn Kaur and Harsel Kaur, are seamlessly blended into one. The subtle but yet ever present tablas of Dheeraj Shrestra, is soothing. Quentin Eyers' classical piano experience is effortlessly reflected by lofty renditions, especially on "Waheguru". The member's impeccable continuity is Group's "tour de force" hallmark of their superb musical talents.

'Naam - the inner journey' is a very peaceful and moving performance which exemplifies the "journey master's" incredible gift.

Dya Singh is one of the most phenomenal performer on the stage of world music. He sings about spirituality in his native Punjabi and blends traditional music with modern and contemporary trends. Dya Singh has single-handedly taken the traditional Sikh spiritual music of Punjab into the world music stage. He owes his skills of music to his parents.Dya learnt the Sikh songs and the art of singing from his father in the Sikh �gurudwaras� since the age of five. Today, his music is considered to be most soothing, uplifting and exhilarating to the listener. Dya Singh has twice been awarded 'Instrumentalist of the year' by SAMIA (South Australian Music Industry awards). Dya Singh heads one of the foremost 'world' music groups in Australia named after him. This group has twice been nominated 'World Music Group of the year' and won the title once. His music is traditional and features the essential mystical quality which has inspired the listeners all over the world.
