This 380 page book offers a panoramic view of yoga from its ancient roots to the most up-to date practices, to the role it plays in personal and global peace, and everything in between.

Shakta Kaur Khalsa began practicing yoga in 1972, and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1976. She is an IKYTA certified teacher trainer, and a 500 RYT with Yoga Allaince. Additionally, she is an AMS certified Montessori educator and author of several well-known books for adults and children.
