Spirit Voyage

This mantra relates directly to healing and protective energy represented by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of the Sikhs. He is held in reverence by all people who respect universal service.

The mantra is comprised of 2 parts. The first part is a nirgun mantra (Guru Guru Wahe Guru). This projects the mind to the source of knowledge and ecstasy. The second part is a sirgun mantra (Guru Ram Das Guru). This means ?the wisdom that comes as a servant of the infinite?. It is the mantra of humility. It reconnects the experience of the finite to infinity.

Sit in a comfortable position so that you?re able to keep a straight spine. Hands on the knees in gyan mudra (thumb and first finger touching). With the eyes closed, bring the focus to the 3rd eye (the point between the eyebrows).

This mantra can bring relaxation, self-healing and emotional relief. It can be chanted for 11 ? 62 minutes. (This CD is 62 minutes in length)

Gurudass Singh was born in New York and was raised in Puerto Rico. With a natural gift for music, Gurudass attended the Berkeley College of Music where he focused on guitar and composition. When he chose to become a Sikh in 1972, he brought with him a musical masala that keeps getting better with time. His natural talent for singing and songwriting have the power to reach a person's soul and create joy in the heart. His songs have become part of the Khalsa traditions.

Gurudass Singh travels the world teaching yoga and music. He currently lives Santiago, Chile.

Gurudass Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and musician whose strong and powerful vocals mirror her amazing spirit. She is a very gifted singer and musician. Her beautiful and powerful voice has the gift to uplift and expand the mind into a pure state of bliss.  She is often heard signing and playing in many well-known Kundalini Yoga music recordings.

Gurudass Kaur has been a teacher of Kundalini Yoga since 1972.  She opened the first Kundalini Yoga School in Barcelona, Spain in 1978 and has been an active teacher trainer in Europe for many years. Her big heart and gift with people have placed her on the forefront of many 3HO events, both in Europe and the USA.

Gurudass Kaur presently lives in Northern Virginia and is the mother of two beautiful (grown up) children.
