Company history
The company was started in the middle of 2007 by a small team to develop market and distribute high quality food products primarily in the European market.
The founders have been involved in food and other businesses for more than 25 years. They have developed and built one of the most successful tea brands in the Natural Foods market in Europe.
The first line of products, the Guacamole, which is a virtually new product in Europe was introduced for test marketing in the summer of 2008 to judge consumer response.
During 2008 the team was expanded to include over 15 members (based in several countries) that includes a full range of skills from product development, operations, sales, copyrighting etc needed to develop, produce and distribute food products in the market.
All team members share a common heritage, lifestyle and practice of yoga, healing and meditation taught and inspired by Yogi Bhajan who passed away in 2004.
Several of the team members worked in various positions including top management to develop a large business and non profit organization (over $600 millions in sales, 15,000 employees and tens of thousands of practitioners and teachers of the yogic lifestyle and technology) under the direction and inspiration of Yogi Bhajan. As a result of the changes that occurred after he passed away they left during 2007-08 and started this new business to carry on with the same inspiration and ideals that he inspired.
1.Hari Tea – a line of organic teas (11 varieties of great tasting herbal, spice and tea blends) based on Yogic and Ayurvedic traditions using high quality leaf teas and large cut herbs and spices, hand packed in cotton tea bags. This is a high quality, premium priced product for the natural food and premium retail market. This was introduced in the last quarter of 2008 in Europe. A USA organic version is being prepared for fall 2009 introduction in the USA.
