Naam Yoga
Naam Yoga was created by Gurunam Joseph Michael Levry. It combines the Eastern yogic
tradition of Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) with the Western Jewish mystical
path of Kabbalah. It is a combination of the yogic knowledge of the body with the
mystical knowledge of the laws of the universe, as expressed in Kabbalah.
It involves meditation, yogic movement, breathing, mudra, and chanting the name
(Naam) of God. It may appeal to those with a joint interest in Kundalini Yoga and
Kabbalah and with a larger desire to unify the teachings of East and West.
