Language: Gurmukhi - Source: 17th Slok of Sukhmani Sahib - Author: Baba Siri Chand, son of Guru Nanak, gave this mantra to Guru Arjun Dev Ji

Translation:

True in the beginning, true throughout the ages, true even now, Nanak, truth shall ever be.



More Information:

The 'Bhai' version of this mantra has the same meaning as the 'Bhee' version. The focus of this mantra is to help remove blocks when you get stuck and help get you moving. This chant is from Baba Siri Chand who was the eldest son of Guru Nanak (the first Guru of the Sikhs).

Now suppose something you want to move and it’s not moving. There is a block  and it’s not movable…..then chant this mantra. It’s a lever. It is the biggest lever available to you as a mantra.” Yogi Bhajan

This mantra is charged with positive energy; but it is perhaps not appropriate to say that both the mantras with 'bhai' and bhee have the same meaning. There has been a significant and perceptible change in impact due to change in the intonation of the mantra. The respondent is a devout sikh since the last nearly 40 years and has always felt so. It would not b e a digression to place on record that The SUKHMANI SAHIB which is the source of this mantra has extra-ordinary perceptible impacts depending on the time and manner in which it is recited.
