If you've been doing the 40 Day Global Sadhana: Release Fear and Become a Conscious Leader, you may have experienced some strong emotions coming to the surface. This powerful meditation with the mantra “Aadays Tisay Aadays” can help us to move past the fears that hold us back, and allow us to take our place as conscious leaders in our lives. That process will look different for everyone, and everyone will have a different way of working through it. Yoga music is a great tool to support the changes that 40 day meditations can bring, and the wide variety of yoga music available means there's something for everyone!
If you've been doing the Global Sadhana with the video, you've had the pleasure of hearing the 31 minute version of Snatam Kaur's “Aadays Tisay Aadays” on Meditations for Transformation: Release and Overcome. This is a great track to have on your mp3 player, or on cd to play in your car, while you're out on a walk, or just hanging out at home. Keeping the mantra playing around you will not only raise the vibration of the space around you, it will also be a great reminder of all of the emotional and spiritual work you're doing in the sadhana.
Sometimes releasing old fears can be incredibly exciting and liberating. Looking at the things that have long tied you down and held you back, and making the conscious decision to let go is energizing and fun! When I'm in that space I want high-energy mantra music to support me. Artists like MC Yogi, Sada Sat Kaur, GuruGanesha Singh, and Kundalini Remix are just a few of my favorite albums to keep my energy up and my motivation strong.
Other times, facing our fears can be quite challenging to say the least. We may have fears that have been a part of our lives and psyches for as long as we can remember. We may consider them a fixed aspect of our identities, inextricably linked to who we are as people. Our egos may try to convince us that letting go will leave us lost or empty. When fear threatens to overtake you, try listening to artists who are soothing and grounding. I like Gurunam Singh, Nirinjan Kaur, Mirabai Ceiba, and Harnam.
There are so many great albums out there – what's supporting you during this meditation?

Hi Liz, Thanks for sharing this information. I’m totally loving this 40 day sadhana, and have had some personal breakthroughs, and I also like to support my experience by listening to other artists chanting. My introduction to spirit voyage was through Snatum Kaurs’ CD ‘Grace’. Three days ago, I decided to add another sadhana using track 4 which is Ra Ma Da Sa, along with the pose described, and have had some emotional releases from that.
I tried for years to meditate in silence, with little outcome. Within three months of daily mantra chanting, I have had some beautiful experiences of peace, joyfulness, and a sense of connection to all. The vibrational effects of chanting are profound for me.
I look forward to experiencing the works of other artists, and appreciate your contribution.
Namaste,
Marian
Hi Marian!
I think Snatam is many people’s introduction to Spirit Voyage – she was certainly mine. I believe a Ra Ma Da Sa sadhana will be a great compliment to Release Fear, it’s so soothing isn’t it!
I too have had struggles with silent meditation, and love that mantra meditations give me something “to do.” Though recently I’ve come back to silent meditation and feel much more peaceful about it. All the mantras must have relaxed my mind and my ego a bit!
If you haven’t listened much to some of the artists I mentioned above, I encourage you to check them out. There are many more than this, of course, but these are a few of my personal favorites
Many Blessings in your sadhana,
Liz
