2010 Yoga and Music Festivals

Wanderlust Festival- July 29-August 1 2010- at North Lake Tahoe in Squaw Valley, CA

The Wanderlust Festival offers four days of rock music, yoga, lectures and community. It embraces all yoga traditions. Teachers include: Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Sean Corn, Duncan Wong, Elena Brower, Schuyler Grant, Sianna Sherman and others. Music lineup features: Moby, Brazilian Girls, Pretty Lights, Beats Antique, Rupa and April Fishes, MC Yogi and others.

Advance three day, all-access packages are $340 while the four day packages are $420. Regular tickets are $375 and $450 respectively.

Flagstaff Yoga Festival- July 30-August 1 2010- Venue to be determined.

The second annual Flagstaff Yoga Festival features a long rejuvenating weekend in the mountains practicing yoga and eating gourmet food. It promotes physical and emotional wellness through 70 workshops and yoga sessions over the weekend presented by 40 instructors. Proceeds from this year's festival benefit the Sierra Club and Naturopaths International.

Multiple ticket packages are available to accommodate schedules and budgets. A one day unlimited pass without meals is $90.00, while a three day unlimited pass with nine meals is $337.

Evolve Music and Yoga Festival- September 3-6 2010- at Hidden Valley Club in Vernon, NJ

The Evolve Music and Yoga Festival is a four day celebration of the human spirit, Earth and life. It highlights a series of yoga workshops and features artists, environmentalists, guest speakers, food vendors and more than 50 bands. These include: Turbine, Natural Breakdown, Buzz Universe, Scarecrow Collection, King for a Day, Tony Vacca's World Rhythms and others. Camp sites and late night music for campers are available.

Early ticket purchases are on sale now and start at $65 for all four days with camping fees included. Gate price is $125 for general admission. Discounted tickets for children, adults over 70 and special needs people are available.

Spirit Fest- September 17-19 2010- at Timber Ridge Summer Camp in High View, WV

Spirit Fest is the first Kundalini Yoga Music Festival offering three days of meditation, chanting, singing, dancing and Kundalini Yoga in a mountain setting. Featured artists include: Snatam Kaur, Gurmukh, GuruGanesha Singh, Nirinjan Kaur, Sada Sat Kaur, Gurunam Singh, Sat Kartar and Satkirin Kaur Khalsa. A special program including yoga, music and meals for children 5-12 years old is available for $150. All meals provided are vegetarian with a vegan option. Camp sites or accommodation in cabin dorms or private rooms are available.

Advance tickets for the weekend start at $249 for tenting, $335 for dorms or $499 for private rooms. Add $50 at the door.

Bhakti Fest- September 9-12 2010- in Joshua Tree, CA

The Bhakti Fest features four days of kirtan concerts, yoga classes, wellness activities and lectures that take place on 450 acres of desert in Joshua Tree, California. The weekend also includes eco-friendly vendors, vegetarian food and sweat lodge activities. A portion of the event's proceeds go to The Center for Spiritual Studies, a yoga and spiritual advocacy organization.

Advance festival tickets without accommodation are $200 until April 30. On-site semi-private accommodation and spaces in the men’s dorm are sold out.
