Video Yogi Recipe: Vegan, Gluten-Free Fruit and Nut Bars

Taylor Siri Bandhu Foster is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, pastry chef, business owner, expectant mommy, wife, supermodel and superwoman.

In this video, she shares a quick and simple recipe for delicious vegan, gluten-free Fruit and Nut Bars from her beautiful bakery in Bovina, New York called Heaven on Main Street.

These yummy, healthy bars will give you the sustained energy you need for yoga and beyond.  And they’ll bring a little bit of Heaven onto YOUR Main Street.

(Editor’s Note:  I was in Kundalini Yoga Teacher training with Taylor in India.  I remember seeing an incredibly beautiful woman who was always carried herself with grace, ease and beauty, even while in 10 minutes of chair pose or walking through polluted Indian streets.  Upon returning to the states, I discovered that she was actually a supermodel.  No wonder she looked so much better than I did while sweating in India!  I can testify that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. And I think the Food Network should take notice of her skills!)

(Editor’s Other Note:  We have some great books for recipes from the Kundalini Yoga tradition available on SpiritVoyage.com…check them out and get busy in the kitchen!)

(Editor’s Very Last Note:  Taylor recommends putting lots of nuts and dried fruit into your bars. Spirit Voyage carries a line of wonderful products that would be perfect for this recipe for an added nutritional punch! Just click on the picture of the product to be taken straight to our virtual, yogic grocery store!)

    • Hi Maryann,

I’ll ask the chef! That said, I suspect she might just throw it in based on feeling rather than specific measurements!

      Blessings!
