Tonight, March 4th, at 8 PM you can find Markus and Angelika at Rising Tide International.

Saturday, March 6th, at 7:20 PM they'll be in Clearwater at Yoga Village.

Sunday, March 7th you can catch them in New Smyrna Beach at Oceanview Yoga and Bodyworks.

Mirabai Ceiba is a musical project created by Angelika Baumbach from Mexico (vocal and harp) and Markus Sieber from Germany (vocal and guitar). They perform a compilation of original songs in Spanish and English as well as newly arranged chants from different traditions of the world and Gurmukhi Mantras. The name Mirabai Ceiba expresses the influences of both India and Native Latin America. The Ceiba is the sacred tree of Latin America, where these trees are never cut but are allowed to grow very tall.

Se dice que un mantra es un instrumento para liberar la mente del flujo constante de pensamientos que la confunden. “Mantras Festival “se celebra por segunda vez en Madrid tras el gran éxito del año pasado porque como anunciamos quien acudió a estos conciertos salió del teatro con una energía diferente.

Este año nuevas experiencias además de la música. Danza, Silencios y mucha Paz. Charlas con los sabios sobre el nacimiento y sobre la muerte. La tradición de los templos del sur de la India interpretada por Ravi Prasad, la voz mas impactante de Asia que llega desde Mongolia con Urna, la visión contemporánea del canto de mantras con Satkirin Kaur Khalsa, y el mundialmente aclamado maestro de la flauta bansuri, Sachdev.

Y por primera vez una meditación por la paz, en el patio de butacas de un teatro, en el centro de una gran ciudad.
