My fiancé has been slowly introduced to my life as a part of the Kundalini Yoga community. With small and cautious baby steps, he has begun to try to understand what I love about traveling through life in this beautiful and eclectic family. His sense of humor is key to bridging the gaps between our worlds. One day, I answered the phone the way that I have since I was a child, saying "Sat Nam, Hello?" He was on the phone, and during the course of our conversation, I was trying to get him to agree go with me to Winter Solstice. Halfway through my convincing monologue, he stopped me and said, "Don't worry, you had me at Sat Nam." I burst out laughing and said that someday, I was going to put that on a t-shirt... and that day has finally arrived!
