Kundalini Yoga Horoscope: February 24 – March 2 , 2014

There is a get-to-it-and-do-it attitude straight away as the week begins. Don’t delay. The Capricorn Moon is concerned about time, and if you aren’t on the ball, you may miss the boat. Concerns over joints and bones may prevail. Capricorn has dominion over these as well. Have you had any Golden Milk lately? A wonderful drink of turmeric and honey? Get some turmeric in your system (but not on your clothes!). This will help with inflammation and stiffness in your joints. In addition, consider a nice massage or some bodywork or chiropractic consultation. Don’t you owe it to yourself and your body to do so?

Tuesday continues with more of the same. It is a good day to get things done. The mood is about staying grounded, efficient, and practical. Put your nose to the grindstone. You can make it happen. You aren’t afraid of a little work. Others aren’t either. Push the team harder than before.  You can accomplish quite a bit. The energy of Saturn is at work. This is a time to trim the fat, so to speak. Cut out things that aren’t necessary. Be selective of how and with whom you spend your time.

On Wednesday, the Moon goes void-of-course in the early morning hours, but don’t sweat it. It soon comes back on-line.  At about 10am EST (7am PST), the Moon enters Aquarius and at this point, the day officially begins. Aquarius is about doing things for others. It is the most humanitarian of all signs. It’s about freedom. It’s also about being your unique, individual, radical self and asking what gifts and talents you can bring to the world.

Not sure who your real self really is? Consider the wonderful 9-minute meditation in the book, “Self Knowledge”. This three-part kriya will set you straight in no time. The name of it is, “Experiencing the Original You.” What could be better?

On Thursday, look out for the unexpected. There are some surprises out there waiting for you, and quite simply, there is no way to prepare for them, except to be flexible, and go with the flow. If you start to get too rigid, you’ll run into problems. Personalities will be big. That doesn’t mean that you need to fight back. Let people do their thing. Watch and observe, but realize that there is no reason to judge. Be neutral and you will be in good shape.

The big event on Friday is Mercury’s change in direction. At 9am EST (6am PST), Mercury resumes his forward motion, thereby helping out everyone in the communication and travel department. Now that Mercury is direct, it is safe to sign contracts, buy things with mechanical and electrical parts and follow through with plans and ideas.

In addition, the Moon moves into compassionate Pisces on Friday morning, suggesting that it is a time to nurture your creative, artistic spirit. Musical, dance, and writing projects are all likely to go well under this influence. It is a time to speak your emotions through mediums other than pure speech.

On Saturday – head’s up – it’s the New Moon! This is the day when the Sun and the Moon have come together in the same sign (in this case, Pisces), suggesting that it is a time of new beginnings. It is a time to let go of the past in order to set the stage for a more prosperous and bountiful, healthy and fulfilling future. It is a time to let go of the old in order to make way for the new.

Saturday is a time to put wishes out into the world – especially those having to do with music and the arts. It is a time to ask yourself what you really want, and what will bring you ultimate fulfillment.

Sunday’s energy has a bit more of a kick to it. You may find yourself with an excess of physical energy. The body wants to move, so prepare to do just that. Join a pick up soccer game or go out for a long walk or hike. There is no reason to slack now. In fact, it is a good day to take action. Get something started. Get the ball rolling.
