Kundalini Horoscope: June 5 – 11, 2017

Astrology Background

There is a slow crescendo of energy building as the week begins. Emotionally, you may already be feeling the approach of the Full Moon, which is exact on Friday morning. As a result, you may notice that your dream state is more active at night and you find yourself staying up later and later.

Our emotions tend to sync with the waxing Moon. Be prepared for outbursts of intensity as a result of this powerful energy. At the same time, keep yourself in check. It will be easy to make mountains out of molehills under these types of conditions. At times you may need to take a step back and count to ten. Put things into perspective before you fly off the handle on an issue that really isn’t that big a deal in the long run.

Emotional intensity is magnified on Monday thanks to the fact that the Moon is in the most extreme water sign of Scorpio. People are either hot or cold. Power struggles may result. It may be hard to find middle ground.

The fight for control continues on Tuesday, the day associated with the planet Mars, ruler of war and weapons. This added intensity, combined with the Scorpio Moon might make for dramatic events either at home or in the workplace. Slow down on the roads and try not to take things too personally. There is a heavy load of guilt getting thrown around. Don’t get caught in the manipulation game. Stand your ground and know your boundaries.

The Moon is void-of-course for a good portion of the day on Wednesday, so beware. This is not a good day to make any major plans or decisions. Postpone work strategy meetings for another time. Stick to routine tasks. Better yet, don’t bother going in to work at all. It isn’t until 7pm EST (4pm PST) that the Moon gets back on track and we have our intuition with us again.

Themes regarding higher philosophy, religion, spirituality and long-distance travel come to the forefront on Thursday. This is a time when you really need to look at the big picture. Reach for the stars. Think big. Widen your horizons. Consider a class or workshop to appeal to your curious, ever-expanding sense of the world.

The Moon reaches her fullest point on Friday morning, although you will still see her quite Full on Thursday night. Note how the emotional thermometer is turned up even higher. Looking for a way to cool your jets? This is the perfect time to reach for Ajeet Kaur’s beautiful album Sacred Waters: Flow from Emotion to Devotion. The title pretty much says it all, as this is the perfect remedy for the tempers and emotional outburst you may be dealing with this week, and especially this Friday when the Moon is at her fullest point. Her recordings of the mantras like the Narayan Shabad (31 minutes) and Sat Narayan will help ease the emotional tension that is mounting and help transform it directly into love.

Saturday’s message is clear – get to work. Get things done. It is Saturday, aka “Saturn’s Day.” This, combined with the fact that the Moon is in Capricorn, the sign associated with Saturn, gives us double reason to put our noses to the grindstone and get busy. Make a long list and enjoy the gratitude of checking things off after each completion. Your awareness of time is keen and your efficiency is high. Have fun with the process and stay practical. Know your limits and set boundaries with other people in order to maintain your focus and keep your trajectory.

Although Sunday is traditionally a day set aside for rest, the astrological energy for this day has a different plan in mind. This Sunday, continue tasks started on Sunday, and begin new ones. Keep the momentum going. In terms of recreation, this is a great day for a hike. Feel the Earth beneath your feet. Climb a small mountain. Enjoy the journey one step at a time. You have more strength and stamina than you may think.  Get out in the garden and pull some weeds. Connect with Mother Earth. Enjoy the fragrances of the blooming spring around you.
