The Moon is waning. She is getting smaller each day. Meanwhile you find yourself gradually coming down from the emotional turmoil of last week. Things are calming. Look inward and be more meditative as opposed to being outgoing and aggressive. As the Moon hides herself more and more each night, we may find ourselves doing the same.
Monday is a tricky day. You will be most productive in the morning. Get started early and get moving. Stay grounded and practical. Get a head start and initiate projects that require your attention. At 2:45pm EST (11:45am PST), however, all bets are off. This is the time when the Moon goes void-of-course. For the next four and a half hours, we feel out of sorts. It’s as if someone has turned part of our brain off. That part would be our intuition. We have lost our guiding beacon, the Moon, as she moves backstage to change costume into the next sign.
The next sign is Aquarius, and this energy is alive and well on Tuesday, the day of Mars. The Moon makes favorable angles to Jupiter and Mercury today, making for an active, unexpected, and grand adventure. Go ahead and let the day take you where it wants to take you. Say ‘yes’ to the unknown that awaits you.
Wednesday is a good day to reach out to others and join together with those of like-minds. Connect with people who have the same views, beliefs and philosophies as you. Find your strength among your spiritual sangat. Work toward a common goal. Service is the key word for the day. Look at what you can do to the greater community. Ask yourself how you can do your small part to contribute to some cause or organization that helps to uplift and elevate the collective.
The Moon enters Pisces in the early morning hours of Thursday, setting the tone for a creative, romantic, and artistic day. This is a time to drawn on your inner talent and express yourself through artistic means. Share how you are feeling using some other means besides mere words. Free yourself. Dance around in your living room. Grab a pen and a piece of paper. The key is to not let your judgmental mind or inner critic get in the way of your process. Don’t worry about what the end result looks like or sounds like. Just enjoy the process and let your feelings out.
Music and artistry continue on Friday with the Pisces Moon steering the ship. Reach for Sangeeta Kaur’s beautiful album Niguma, for inspiration and elevation. This beautifully crafted body of music encompasses sacred mantras as well as songs in English to help calm the nerves and soothe the soul. Wonderful artistry and musicianship weaves throughout every track in the collection, including the Ardas Bhaee chant, a prayer to answer all prayers, and Aad Guray Nameh a mantra for guidance and protection.
The fourth quarter Moon is exact on Saturday, the day that the Moon is at a 90-degree angle to the Sun. At this time, the Sun and the Moon, representing the masculine and feminine polarities, are at odds with each other. There is tension between the sexes. There is difficulty between men and women. This will be extra pronounced in the morning hours with the Moon is void-of-course.
People are confusing each other. Take everything with a grain of salt. Stick to routine tasks. Don’t make any big decisions, especially when you feel yourself building with tension and/or anger. At 1:55pm EST (10:55am PST) the Moon is back on track and we have our intuition back once again.
