  3. Happy Birthday Snatam! It all started innocently enough last Labor Day weekend at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, N.Y. A Sacred Chant Weekend with Snatam & others. It became the “Woodstock event for me – without drinking & drugging , just by experiencing her wonderful, uplfting, awe-inspirarating sacred chants – that brought tears to my eyes & helped heal me, for the very first time in my life – as a wounded soldier from the killing fields of Vietnam. This is exactly where I had been some 42 years ago when Woodstock occurred, and I unfortunately as a teenager was fighting an unpopuar war against the North Vietnamese Army & the Vietcong.

And her music was my saviour, her preciuos smile helped heal me, but it was her “Humilty” – her “Human-ness” and her “Radiance” that became my mentor – and model role for me to do intensive “Inner Work” in the hopes of becoming a reflection of her and her sacred music – which finally brought me home from the killing fields of Vietnam – to our world of “Peace here on Earth”…Thankyou…Thankyou…Thankyou – Oh precious one..
