Golden Bridge Teacher Training in South Africa

Golden Bridge believes that students can truly deepen their own spiritual path by becoming a Kundalini yoga teacher and serving their communities. To become a teacher is a powerful, uplifting and rewarding experience; to teach is to transcend the self and move beyond ego, giving yourself over to the teachings for the benefit of uplifting and empowering your students.   This Golden Bridge Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training includes instruction from Gurmukh, Gurushabd, and Guru Dharam, three extraordinary teachers who will guide you on your journey.
August 28th – September 21st, 2013
Cape Town, South Africa

The Immersion Course is held at a four-star estate in the beautiful Hout Bay valley — 20 minutes from the center of Cape Town. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful and internationally recognized destination spots in the world. Lying between the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, Cape Town has a Mediterranean climate with dry warm summers and mild winters. Spring season is a perfect time to visit Cape Town. Average temperatures range between 15 – 25 degrees in September.  September is the month when all the oak trees burst into shaggy, tender leaf. The vineyards are covered with a veil of green and strawberries and watermelon.

This is a great opportunity to come to Cape Town, one of the top tourist destinations in the world because of its beauty, vibrancy and cultural mix.  If you come to the Teacher Training from far away, its the perfect opportunity to spend a few days before or after the training exploring the green mountains or the blue sea.

The course will be held on a 4 star estate next to Llandundo Beach, a protected sanctuary.  The mountains provide the space with a strong grounding energy.

Classroom instruction includes:

  • Classes in Kundalini Yoga Kriyas & Meditations
  • Psychology of a Kundalini Yoga Teacher
  • Yogic Philosophy & The Origin of Kundalini Yoga

  1. I have done only around 35 kundalini classes and from the the first time I went to a class I felt an amazing connection to God, I felt like I was at home and had tears of joy and felt so much love. Just recently I have been having very strong thoughts it feels like I’m being called to come on a teacher training course but am worried that I have’nt had enough practice or experience, I have been meditating for 2yrs every day, I am fit and well, at present I teach Pilates and have done so for 9yrs.
I attended two of Gurmukh’s workshops at Tri yoga in London and found them both very inspirational. Do you think it would be appropriate for me to attend the immersion course?
    Many thanks
    Love and light
