With Over 700 concerts to date, David's work is one of the most amazing and mystical journeys through sound today. Based in Mount Hope, Ontario, David performs with 15-20 Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls. The thickness of the crystal bowl determines the note, digitally tuned to C D E F G A and B corresponding to the chakras, our energy centers. The bowls are played in combination with a Vibraphone, Santoor and 8-18 Paiste Planet, Symphonic and Sound Creation Gongs. The intent of the performance is to create soothing, meditative and healing music.
Each performance is completely improvised and unique. David's recordings are also ideal for meditation, yoga, music therapy and massage practitioners.
David is looking forward to taking his music to even more people across Canada and the Globe with a message of hope, peace and unity through music.Crystal Journey has dedicated its intention for the music to help raise awareness to our environment and such social causes as Tibet and Burma, raising funds for these and various other charities.Crystal Journey also works with cancer support groups such as Well Spring Calgary.
