I am so excited to be joining the Spirit Fest team this September to head up the Children's Program at Spirit Fest. Our time will be packed with fun activities, lots of outdoor time, hikes, non- competitive games, children's yoga, chanting, dancing, art projects and more! The program will provide children with an incredible interactive and fun experience of yoga and play while parents are able to delve deeply into their own retreat.
The children’s program will take place while the adults are in classes/concerts on the following schedule:
Friday 1:15pm – 6:00pm
Saturday Morning: 8:45am to 12:30pm
Saturday Afternoon: 1:15pm – 6:00pm
Sunday 8:15am - 1:30pm
All meals will be eaten with parents and children are welcome to join morning Sadhana and evening concerts with their parents.
I have been working with children, practicing Kundalini Yoga and dancing for as long as I can remember. I’m a licensed childcare provider and the founder and director of Khalsa Camp, a holistic summer program for children in Leverett MA. As an arts educator, I teach West African dance, creative movement, and ballet to children and adults. I’m also the proud mother of Amardas, my almost 4-year old son!
I look forward to spending this special time with you and your children and sharing in their creative free spirits!

The children’s program sounds great! Will there be any arrangements for infants if we’d like to bring them along? Thank you!
Similar question to the last one about infants. Can they come with us to the concerts? My son will be almost one. Thx
You are most welcome to bring infants to classes and concerts with you, but the children’s program will only be offered for children ages 3 – 14.
Blessings, Sat Darshan
