My life is very simple, because I only care about one thing: as long as I am serving the mission, I don’t mind what else happens. I try to do better today than I did yesterday, and I’ll try to do better tomorrow than I did today. Yogi Bhajan said something very interesting, “I wake up in the morning, I do everything as accurately as I can, and I go to sleep at night. I don’t do anything else.”

From a young age Hari Rai has been playing most of the instruments she could lay her hands on, including viola, violin, guitar, piano, harp, marimba, taiko drums, and even the Mongolian morin khuur. She has performed in concert with Snatam Kaur, Nirinjan Kaur, Dharm Singh, Guru Shabad Singh, and others. Her melodies are known for evoking an experience of deep meditation and longing.
