The weekend of 9/11, Buddhafest is presenting a weekend of peace, compassion and forgiveness in Washington, DC. The weekend will feature such prominent speakers as Lama Surya Das, Sylvia Boorstein, Tara Brach, Ruth Kind, Hugh Byrne, Jonathan Foust and Rabbi Sheila Weinberg and will include meditation, talks, films and music by Spirit Voyage's own Mirabai Ceiba.
Mirabai Ceiba's music is both universal and healing, invoking a resonant peace and deep inner stillness. Their new album "Awakened Earth" invokes a dream for a better world, one where the ideals Buddhafest of peace, compassion and forgiveness come to being.
