On November 6th & 7th, Leaders Causing Leaders is hosting more than 100 luminaries from the fields of business, art, science, spirituality, human rights and environmental studies at the LEADERshift 2010 Conference in Long Beach, CA at the Long Beach Convention Center. Leaders Causing Leaders is a non-profit organization committed to inspiring and promoting sustainability, harmony and true leadership for our planet. The event features two days of dynamic presentations, interactive workshops, yoga and musical performances with world-renowned author Stephen M. R. Covey; child soldier and author of the bestselling “A Long Way Gone”, Ishmael Beah; healer-musician-minister of Sikh Dharma, Guru Singh; motivational coach & founder of “The Work”, Byron Katie; founder of Anusara Yoga, John Friend; entrepreneur, author & TED speaker Chip Conley; and Grammy Award-winning artist Jason Mraz.

“We do not inherit the world from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children,” said Guru Singh, exemplifying why we need to inspire conscious leadership now. “Evolution expands with every generation in order for the universe to survive and thrive. Other renowned keynote speakers include Cafe Gratitude founders & authors of “Sacred Commerce” Matthew & Terces Engelhart. At all Café Gratitude restaurants, the staff practice sacred commerce and begin their work day shifting their attention to love and acceptance, gratitude, generosity, abundance and the privilege of serving others through daily staff clearings. They incorporate environmentally friendly practices at their restaurants and manage two organic farms as well as offer workshops on their clearing techniques and conscious business model.

Alongside to the main stage speakers, the two-day transformational event offers a full Youth Leadership program, transformational workshops, networking and a Saturday evening music festival at Joie de Vivre Hotel Maya with live performances from Larisa Stow & Shakti Tribe, The Makepeace Brothers and Luc & The Lovingtons. Additional workshops include open collaborations for speeding the pace of change, conscious money, human rights, women in sustainable business and social entrepreneurship, among dozens of others.
