Still Point Blend

Each of the five LIGHT EOB, Inc. essential oil blends is based upon a Kundalini Yoga Mantra or concept. This will complete the descriptions of each of the LIGHT EOB blends: Abundance (Har), Creation (Ek Ong Kar), Ecstasy (Wahe Guru), Truth (Sat Nam) and Still Point (Shunia). It is my joy to create these blends and make them available to you. Sweet kirtan fills the air as each synergy is hand blended and bottled. This week I’d like to tell you more about the Still Point Blend.

The Still Point Blend (Shunia) is composed of Rose, Neroli, Frankincense and Myrrh essential oils. The carrier oil is Marula Oil, rich in anti-oxidants and easily absorbed by the skin.

Rose Essential Oil- The Queen of Flowers! When we think of Rose Essential Oil, aside form it’s glorious sweet scent, we often first think of love and opening the heart. Delicious and euphoric. Rose oil is sattvic (harmful to none) and tridoshic (benefits all body types). It has an uplifting effect.  A drop of Rose Essential Oil to the Heart, Throat or Third Eye Chakra points helps to deepen meditations, especially those concentrated on love and compassion. When you wear rose oil, it benefits you and everyone around you. Shunia.

Neroli Essential Oil- Neroli Essential Oil, derived from hand-picked orange blossoms, uplifts the Mind, heals the heart of grief and sadness, and helps us Keep Up in times of hardship. This oil is like liquid joy. Our sense of well-being and creativity flourishes.  We enter a state of peaceful, centered awareness. Our spirit is calmed and we can dwell in a restful, tranquil state. Shunia.

Frankincense Essential Oil- The complex aroma of Frankincense Essential Oil is due to it containing over two hundred molecular compounds! We are using the molecular components of the tree’s immune system to balance and regulate our immune system. Frankincense Essential Oil can enhance our memory, soothe the nervous system and promote a relaxed state of Mind. Shunia.

Myrrh Essential Oil- Often combined with Frankincense, Myrrh Essential Oil (resin), shares many of Frankincense Essential Oil’s therapeutic properties. Myrrh is one of the oldest medicines in the world.  As an ingredient in incense and holy oil blends Myrrh Essential Oil is believed to engage and enliven the spirit while deepening and inspiring meditation and prayer. Shunia.

When placed in a blend, these oils have a synergistic effect.

“When we hold our ego, our thumbs, we conquer the ego so we may easily come to the point of Shunia – the point of zero. Once we get to that point, the Universe can flow through us.”
