Siri Kirpal Kaur Khalsa
Artist Bio:

Siri Kirpal Kaur Khalsa had an epiphany one evening as she crossed the dining room at age 7: she would write illustrated books when she grew up. What to write was the question.
Before the answer came to her, she married in 1972, had a brief career as a folksinger, finished her BA in Art at Marylhurst College (now University) in 1982, began practicing Kundalini Yoga and meditation in 1983, and became a Sikh in 1986. The last two in that list provided the material for her books Yoga for Prosperity and Sikh Spiritual Practice.

She has founded an interfaith organization, spoken on televised interfaith panels and taught Kundalini Yoga to convicted felons. She lives in Eugene, Oregon, with her non-Sikh husband.
