Spirit Voyage Records was founded to serve as a tribute to the work that Yogi Bhajan has done on the planet.
GuruGanesha Singh, the father of Spirit Voyage, had been signed to a mainstream record label in his youth. This experience ignited in him the desire to make a different kind of record label, one founded on the Aquarian model of business with the belief that every business arrangement has a balance point that is good for all people involved. He believed that putting this core value at the heart of a business would radiate prosperity in all directions from the inside out. When every deal is made with the intention that all people involved win – the artists, the public, the label, true prosperity can exist. GuruGanesha Singh, who is not only an amazing musician and executive, but also runs an extremely successful technology sales training business, believed that making money and becoming successful were a manifestation of being true to a core intention to help others, and for Spirit Voyage that is to serve through the spread of authentically healing sound current.
And the model has worked. With the intention of providing a space where artists can be true to their essence, we have built a successful record label able to continue to produce sacred music that is reaching ever-widening audiences around the globe.
