Gurujot Kaur Khalsa is the P.R. and Marketing Director of Spirit Voyage Records. Her relationship with Spirit Voyage dates back to its inception and she has contributed as an artist and an advisor, and most recently in her capacity as Marketing Director.
Gurujot Kaur studied personally with Yogi Bhajan, her spiritual teacher for over 35 years. She was a leader in the development of the Kundalini Yoga community in Washington, DC and Virginia. She was also the director of Khalsa Women’s Training Camp, a Kundalini Yoga Camp for women in New Mexico, for 7 years.
Studying and playing Kirtan has been a vital part of her spiritual practice, and she has woven the beauty of music and the ecstasy of the sound current into the daily fiber of her life. Having been privileged to study Kirtan and Indian classical music with great musical masters, she has played kirtan at Sikh Gurdwaras throughout India, Europe and the U.S. She has also added her gentle and soothing voice to many Spirit Voyage CD’s, including: Beautiful Sadhana, Yoga Morning, and Live at Five.
With her passionate belief that music has the power to transform the consciousness and open the heart, she enthusiastically embraces her role as Marketing Director for Spirit Voyage Records to expand the presence of New Age music to the public.
