Ditta Khalsa
COO, Spirit Voyage Records
Ditta's professional relationship with music began in 1986 as one of the founding members of the widely unrecognized heavy metal band, Tipper Göre. Exhausted from the rigors of not touring, he moved to Amsterdam to help expand Yogi Tea into Europe. As Yogi Tea's Marketing Manager Ditta was a key member of a team responsible for establishing the brand as the number one herbal tea in Europe's natural foods market.
In 2005 Ditta moved to New York City where he joined a boutique design studio and was quickly given a dedicated assignment to Estée Lauder's 'Origins' brand. He is an exceptional artist and is responsible for many of Spirit Voyage's recent album covers.
Ditta's balance of creative and business experience made him an obvious choice as the COO of Spirit Voyage Records. He joined the Spirit Voyage Records team in the Spring of 2007 and has since taken a guiding role in the direction of the label, artist relations, and the production of new titles.
